1220 Opens The National World War II Museum’s Road to Tokyo

1220 is thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of the National World War II Museum’s Road to Tokyo in the Campaigns of Courage Pavilion. The second exhibition detailing the story of World War II, Road to Tokyo explores the strategy of fighting in Asia and the Pacific with guests taking an immersive journey through several decisive battles culminating with Japan’s surrender. The National World War II Museum is located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

1220 brings energetic feel to TCU’s Mary Couts Burnett Library

1220 Exhibits was thrilled to be a part of the team to bring a modern and energetic feel to Texas Christian University’s Mary Couts Burnett Library. As part of TCU’s Intellectual Commons, the Mary Couts Burnett Library was repurposed into a technology advanced, media-rich environment that elevates the academic standards of TCU. 1220 Opens Staten Island Museum at Snug Harbor

The Staten Island Museum expanded its exhibitions into a renovated historic building at Snug Harbor in September 2015. The new location added 10,000 square feet of art and natural science exhibitions to the Staten Island Museum campus. The new exhibit space is housed within the interior of a 19th century landmarked structure built in 1879, the museum features over 250 artifacts not previously on display installed in new casework spread across four galleries.

1220 Makes Strides Against Breast Cancer

1220 recently participating in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Everyone who walked had a wonderful time and 1220 was able to fundraise over $1,600 for the American Cancer Society which exceeded our set goal of $1,000.
