1220 Exhibits completes Champions Gallery

NASHVILLE— 1220 Exhibits recently completed the Champions Gallery at Baylor University in Texas. The Gallery is the centerpiece of the recently dedicated Highers-Simpson Athletic Complex and Academic Center.

“We enjoyed working to help bring Baylor’s rich football tradition to life in the Champions Gallery,” 1220 President Matt Carden said. “Having worked with other conferences around the country, it was a pleasure to work with a Big 12 organization. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Baylor.”

The center of the Champions Gallery, located in the main entrance of the new Highers-Simpson Athletic Complex and Academic Center, includes a 26 foot high sculpture decorated with current athletes. The sculpture was designed to highlight Baylor’s football gameday experience and emphasize the volume of the space.

The displays in the Gallery depict Baylor’s tradition and heritage as well as leadership and character. A backwall display highlights Baylor’s Big 12 and bowl game affiliation. The exhibit also highlights Baylor’s tradition of being 1 of the top 33 schools in the country for draft picks to the NFL.

The complex is located on University Parks Drive beside the Brazos River. The one-of-a-kind building totals 96,300 square-feet. Hosting coach’s offices, an athletic training facility, an academic program and more, it provides Baylor’s student athletes with what they need in one building.
