1220 Scores with Carolina Basketball Museum
“We are certainly proud to be a part of this one-of-a-kind facility,” Matt Carden, President of 1220 Exhibits said. “This project was a challenge, and one that we put our heart and soul into. The museum is one of—if not the most—high-tech and interactive sports environments in the country and we could not be more pleased with the finished product.”
The 7,000 sq. ft. museum includes three rooms: The March Madness room featuring Final Four memorabilia and Atlantic Conference Championship players; The Championship Room displaying trophies from Championships and The Game Room, featuring North Carolina NBA players, with a special Michael Jordan display.
“The Carolina Basketball Museum is unbelievable,” Men’s Head Basketball Coach Roy Williams said. “It completely blew me away the first time I went inside. Our staff that put together the museum tells me that 1220 was great to work with and went up to, and beyond every expectation we had. We wouldn’t have this incredible new museum without the good people at 1220 doing such a great job.”
The exhibits throughout the museum incorporate the newest touch screen and high-definition media available.
