NASHVILLE, TN – August 1, 2005 – Once again, the Christian Booksellers Association has honored 1220’s client, Word Distribution, as the exhibiting company with the best overall presence during the 2005 International Christian Retail Show (ICRS). The “Music By Design – Your Blueprints for Success”-themed exhibit that 1220 created for Word took home the “Exhibitor of the Year” Impact Award for this year’s show in Denver.

Honored for overall presence during the convention, which included high marks for booth design, booth layout, friendly and helpful booth staff and overall presentation, Word took the top honor among 410 exhibiting companies in attendance, demonstrating excellence and innovation through presentation. With this award, the 1220/Word Distribution collaboration has now won the CBA’s highest recognitions three out of the past four years. The dynamic duo has previously garnered Impact awards in 2002 for "Best Music Booth" and "Exhibitor of the Year," then again in 2004 they were judged to have the exhibit with the “Best Booth Design.”

Steve Miller of The Adventure and judge for the Impact Awards puts the win in perspective, ““The winner must go far beyond the typical approach to exhibiting, and clearly demonstrate a complete top-to-bottom and side-to-side marketing strategy, which is tough to do. This year Word Distribution showed the judges one of the best - if not THE best - all-around programs in the ten years we've been giving this award. We were impressed to say the least.”

This year as in years past, Laura Neutzling, Word’s Sr. Marketing Director, worked closely with the 1220 team. She depends heavily on the staff at 1220 to execute a show presence that allows her vision to blossom. “It’s so great to have an idea and for them to catch the vision and run with it and as a result we’ve had award winning booths because of it,” explains Ms. Neutzling.
