For Immediate Release Contact: Mr. Chris Kappes A Droplet of Water Yields Big Results The Tradeshow Exhibitors Association (TSEA) awarded 1220 Exhibits and client, Tempus Software today with its 2002 GRAND FOCUS AWARD. This award was established to reward companies that achieve exhibition excellence in achieving results from tradeshows. According to Tempus Software, the exhibit program and marketing campaign resulted in a 20% increase in the number of qualified leads at the HIMSS show (a medical conference) and $2.3M in potential new business for the medical scheduling software company based in Jacksonville, Florida. Based upon on the Tempus logo---a droplet of water---the integrated marketing program targeting hospital CIO’s and admission directors was born. The idea: Tempus Software could transform a medical practice in the same way a drop of water could transform a seed into a tree. The communication vehicles incorporated images of seeds, seedlings and trees. Show collateral featured images of water droplets. The exhibit giveaway was a live oak seedling, and the exhibit itself included a waterfall. Blue and white graphics reinforced the water theme. To drive traffic to the exhibit, three sets of twins were dressed in black Tempus tee-shirts that provide the booth number and urged attendees to "Take a Second Look". The twins were outfitted with blue jackets and matching umbrellas, and were placed at strategic points throughout the convention center. "I think we got better exposure, awareness and recognition by using the twins that we would have for the cost of a full-page ad in a trade magazine," shared Matt Lang, Director of Marketing, Tempus Software. The twins were also interviewed on CNN Talk Live gaining international exposure for Tempus Software and its products. 1220 specializes in the creative development and production of experiential environments for the tradeshow, retail and museum marketplace.
