For Immediate Release Frisby
Addresses "Future of Design" Where is the world of exhibition design headed and how can you get there before the competition? Thomas Frisby, Vice President, Design & Marketing for 1220 shared his team's vision in a TSEA (Tradeshow Exhibitors Association) audio conference held on May 16, 2002 for participants representing major corporations and competitors alike. "Design is always so subjective and this presentation establishes a five-step proprietary process that creates MESSAGE ARCHITECTURE," shared Frisby. "No one needs an exhibit...yet everyone needs sales, message delivery and brand reinforcement. The right "message architecture" delivers this and more...a true memorable experience...when executed properly." A twenty-two year industry veteran, Frisby has developed this process during his extensive design career working on major projects for IBM, Hitachi, Perry Ellis, Toyota and others. He has experienced first-hand the challenges buyers face when replacing their corporate exhibit. "The traditional corporate buyer purchases an exhibit once every three or four years. It's usually a beauty contest with tremendous political pressure from all parts of the corporation; everyone has a different perspective on what the physical embodiment of the brand should look like and be. This often results in internal conflict and an ill-conceived and less than ideal exhibit environment." In the audio conference, Frisby presented his team's five-step process using real-life case studies and research to prove our point. "This process facilitates internal communication and understanding. A visual language is created, resulting in a solution that truly is "Message Architecture". The end product is one that hits-the-mark with your target audience and achieves your corporate marketing objectives." For a CDROM disc of this presentation "The Future of Design.
