History
and Capabilities
Since
our beginning, 1220 has concentrated on designing and producing significant
exhibits and has steadily grown to be a major force in the development
and implementation of museum projects. Our expertise and experience has
grown more solid and far-reaching with each project. From procuring artifacts
to interpret the 100 year story of women's basketball, to mounting and
preserving fragile artifacts on rolling train exhibitions; from the creation
of children's interactive exhibits that detail 19th century river commerce
and
architecture, to handling multi-million dollar sports collections
1220 has met each design challenge with a common goal of giving the museum
community a truly unique experience that combines education with entertainment.
Now a multi-faceted company with facilities in Nashville,
1220 has grown to meet the challenges of today's curators, educators,
and audiences. We continue to produce exciting and educational national
museum projects and special-event exhibits that renders the high level
of products and services that have been associated with our four-digit
logo. If you are in search of a single-source firm to bring your vision
to reality, 1220 could very well be the answer. Although most of our
projects
are turnkey including initial planning and design, film and animatronics
scripting, development of electronic media interactive, fabrication and
installation of your exhibits our services are also offered a-la-carte
for selected projects.
