CARPENTER/FABRICATOR

1220 Exhibits is seeking a full-time Exhibit Carpenter/Fabricator for immediate hire.

Ideal candidates possess the following qualifications:

      • Experience in fine woodworking with hardwoods a must
      • Experience with router, table saw and hand tools
      • Competency in acrylics and metal fabrication
      • Great interpersonal and organizational skills
      • Flexibility to work some overtime and weekends
      • Ability to travel on out of state jobs
      • Efficiency in meeting deadlines

AUDIO/VISUAL TECHNICIAN/INSTALLER

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Professional Video & Matrix Switching Systems
      • Controle System installation with control system programming a plus Basic project management skills for working with clients and other trades
      • Practical application of understanding of electronic theory
      • AMX/Creston programming preferred
      • Mechanical aptitude and experience with physical installations of ceiling- mounted projectors, video walls and audio-visual and mechanical interactive components within commercial buildings
      • Troubleshoot and use hand tools, test equipment, solder and experience with crimp and compress connections

Ideal candidates possess the following qualifications:

 3 to 5 years of extensive hands-on knowledge of major commercial audio, video, control and display systems (also signal distribution.)

3 to 5 years on-site installation of A/V racks and commercial low voltage wiring, connectors, and terminations.

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Certifications: ICIA –CTS, CTS-I or higher

Knowledge of and experience with the occupational hazards and safety requirements of the trade: comfortable with heights, ladders and man-lifts up to 35 feet. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Possess and maintain valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

Personable attitude, self-motivated and a team player. Willingness to learn new technologies.

Ability to travel to installation sites via ground and air transportation.

Knowledge of basic MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
